Looks like Twitter is on everyone’s mind:) Everywhere you look Twitter that, tweet this! Oh yeah re-tweet!!!

During 2008 big media outlets and business slowly began to realize the possibilities that Twitter can bring them and are scrambling trying to grasp on how to use it to drive potential customers to their site. Instant communication, real time, and to the point, no long or fancy banter here, all of which is a portable platform (Use Twitter on multiple platforms).

What can twitter do for you? A lot if done properly, Twitter can create a very interactive environment bring discussion, useful information, and a human face to your audience.

A perfect example is Comcast’s twittering customer support, which actually managed to savage an already hammered image of a corporate giant that didn’t care for its customers. Of course Comcast is not alone in the Social Media Pool, Dell has created a very elaborate range of Twitter profiles for marketing, sales, customer support, etc.

One thing for certain is that recent tech news of  Twitter and Facebook slugging it out for the hearts and minds of the masses:)
